What is Drop•Attribute
=======================
Drop•Attribute is a fast, simple, and safe file type/creator changer. It allows you to drop a file, folder, or mixture of the two onto it's icon to change their types and/or creators.
How do I use Drop•Attribute?
=============================
Using Drop•Attribute is simple. Drop any file, folder, or mixture of the two onto the Drop•Attribute icon. You will be presented with a dialog with which you can setup your type and/or creator criteria, describing how you want the files to be changed. You have the option to change the type, creator, or both by checking or un-checking the boxes next the name. Only files (not folders) are modified.
Balloon help is also completely supported so check that out if you need more help while you're running the application.
How much does Drop•Attribute cost?

Nothing, Drop•Attribute is absolutely free. You are completely free to distribute it under the following conditions:
1) You do not charge for Drop•Attribute (shipping & handling and media costs excluded)
2) You include this Read Me file along with Drop•Attribute.
What other options does Drop•Attribute offer?
==============================================
Look Inside Folders Allows you to change files inside of folders to any
folder depth. Maximum folder depth is limited only
by available memory.
Refresh Finder Display Gives you the option to force the finder to refresh
it's display when you have changed a file. This
lets you quickly see the effect of the operation.
What does Drop•Attribute require to run?

Drop•Attribute should run on any Macintosh running System 7.x.x. It has been tested on a PowerMac 6100/60, Macintosh IIfx, and a Macintosh II. It has been tested on the following System's: System 7.1.0, System 7.1.2, System 7.5.0 (with and without System 7.5 Update 1.0).
What did you use to create Drop•Attribute?

Drop•Attribute was written in less than one day in C using Metrowerks CodeWarrior 5.5 for both the PowerPC and 680x0 versions of the application. Resources were created and edited exclusively with Resorcerer 1.2.5. Original icons for Drop•Rename were created by AP, and modified by The Web for Drop•Attribute.
